Pendant LIGHTPendant light with radial shade in slender birch wood slats. The differentiated curvature of each slat creates a whirling movement. An underlying formal principle translated into an algorithm controls each single geometric and dimensional parameter. The algorithm permits real-time modifications to the number, thickness and dimensions of the slats and variations in the proportions and regularity of the light fixture to accentuate or reduce its asymmetry. A single generating principle produces infinite variations and a family of products that share a common and recognisable language. |
