​The Genesis Of Marshy is a short film by Eugenio Tibaldi and Lorenzo Morandi created during the construction phases of the environmental work Marshy. The poetic of the short film begins with the installation, aiming to investigate the redefinition of the self in time and space.

Through a self-building process, our sole inhabitant will lead us to contemplate the relationship between the natural and the artificial in the fervent pursuit of a salvific equilibrium. Fiction reveals itself as the only possibility to confront existence, to forgive oneself, and to cease separating wonder from disaster. Suspension becomes the privileged viewpoint through which to endure the torment of reality.
